1st pass pre-stack depth migration on the left, and the results after one iteration of tomography on the right.
The original depth interval velocities on the left, and the velocities after one iteration of tomography on the right.
The change in velocity (deltav) from the tomography along an inline on the left, and on depth slice 3000 feet on the right. The color represents the change in velocity ranging from 90 to 110%, or from slowing the velocities to speeding them up. Notice the deltav bulls eye. This indicates an area where the velocities are being sped up, or where the data was “over-migrated” in the 1st pass.
